    Bought 6.5 foot Christmas tree online. What was sent Was NOT what was described online! Took back to Flint Township MI. Store Manager stated since ONLY sell 7 ft in store, couldn't accept it & would have to send back with shipping label! Customer service is awful! She states that it's sent by a 3rd party, it's not the fault of Michael's, even though it's on Michael's website. I've not got a credit yet on my card and was told in store that it could take months! I'm stuck in limbo… they got the tree and my $350.
    Three CEOS within a three month time frame really makes sense now. The handling of online orders, returns, replacements, orders, and customer service (everything!) has been ridiculous. I have wasted over 5 hours of my life waiting to speak to someone about damaged frames. When I finally think it is resolved, Michaels decides to cancel the replacements with no explanation. This is ridiculous! Incredibly frustrated and will never do business with Michaels again.
    WORST experience ever! Never again will I order from Michael's! I have received 1/3 of my order & NOT ONE employee (Or. City store) or Chat (can't talk to ANYONE in customer service) can help me! Call the post office is all I got. Can't get through to USPS. Chat hasn't answered back, on my second time trying to chat! So I'm out my missing $30 worth of merchandise I paid for?
    I Ordered Ceramic Sugar Skulls They Never Arrived Then I had A Re Shipment They Came Broken How Disappointing I Was Able T receive A Refund But Still How Sad To Rely On A Shipment So Late Then Comes Broken They Need To Adjust Their Delivery Service & Who Packages So Light That Ceramic Is Broken In Delivery Very Disappointed I Was Glad They Were Able to Refund Me, but It Does Not Take Away From Giving Me Broken Mdse How Careless So Sad That The Delivery Is Not Careful, Very Disappointed They Need To Evaluate Their System :(
    I don't usually shop at Michael's, and this experience reaffirmed why. I ordered a metal watering can online. When it finally arrived it was severely dented, and some of the paint was chipping off. There wasn't any packing material inside the box whatsoever! No wonder it was dented and chipping upon receipt! I tried to contact customer service to no avail. I won't ever be a customer of Michael's again.
    Wrote a review yesterday but they either did post it or deleted it. Online ordering is not very good stuff is not packaged very well most of my items come damaged. NO one will answer you when you try to do a online chat.
    Had a unique canvas stretched & framed. Poor quality on framing. Pattern on corners do not match. Frame was cut as if they were running out of stock. Canvas was damaged & poorly stretched. Staff said they would file an insurance claim IF we could prove. A professional job was promised but not delivered. The end results upset my wife. Paid over $200 for this. Will not use again!
    I placed an online order for store pick up and one item to be shipped to my home address. I was charged for the total transaction amount and then charged again for the shipped item. I was assured by Customer Service, that you can only reach via chat, that these funds would be returned to me. I do not appreciate being charged for more than I purchased. I will no longer conduct business with Michael's Arts and Crafts.
    I ordered a Christmas present for my son 23 days before Christmas because it said will be delivered in 3-5 business days. 7 days later it hasn't even been shipped and their customer service said it can take up to 19 business days. If it said that I wouldn't have ordered it. Why wouldn't they tell you this before purchase. I wish I could give negative stars. This was the worst experience ever. Last time I'll shop at Michael's and I will let everyone I know how terrible they are. They did nothing to help me!
    This is my first time ordering from Michael's. Normally, I shop in the store, but this time opted to order 4 holiday items online. I only received 3 of the 4 items, although the site states all were delivered. There isn't even a shipping email confirmation for the missing item. Of the 3 items I did receive, 2 of them arrived broken. They were just thrown in the box with no protection. I tried calling and an automatic system stated their technology was done. No one called me back. Then, I tried online chat repeatedly and was never connected to an agent. I'm beyond disappointed and out of $40.
    They have all kinds of art supply available. I sometime get great deal of discount on very good products.
    The framing cost went up substantially in the last 6 months. I have had several pieces framed there for a very reasonable price with coupons of course. Their mark up is insane even with 70% off I wanted a small piece framed and it was going to be over 200$. I have had the works done on all, double matting, interior spacing frames, museum quality glass. Never framing there again. I would rather find a different framer. Michael's has lost my business.
    Worst C/S! Received a damaged item, was told they would send a replacement at no charge. Called back couple of days later, still hadn't shipped the item. Called again 2 more days later and they cancelled the reshipment because only the top if the item was damaged. Seriously! The start, the most important part is missing! They are a joke. Finally got a refund. Will not be ordering anything from them online again!
    Fraudulent. The website suck and the online customer service people are rude. The only way to communicate was via chat, first with robots and then waited a long time to chat with some rude agents. If you change your mind, even right after buying and before they start doing anything, you cannot cancel your order. And the chat agents will tell you that they cannot cancel the order even before it was shipped. They refuse to answer questions and keep saying "it's the policy".
    Im not american. I've seen michaels on it, so I decided to get art supplies for my sister. I used my debit card to get an art kit. 15 minutes after the confirmation email my order was canceled, I thought it was a mistake so I put in another order. That one was also canceled. These people took my money both times, that was 7 days ago and it still hasn't been returned. I'm pissed! I want my money back! I could never shop there or recommend them again!
    Free shipping over $59 is lies. My order came to $107 the total including 7.95 shipping. I called they said I had two value packs total $21.90. What about my other $78 that's over $59 they would not return. And rude customer service. Hobby lobby. Blick will be getting my business for now on.
    Michael's is one of the major craft stores in my area. I find they do have a huge selection of items. What I also find is some items are overpriced. Sometimes it is not good customer service the cashier might be the only employee working.
    The first time I ordered from them I got the wrong item. Second time I got half of what I ordered and things I didn't order. Unfortunately I placed a third order back to back with the second order. The third order was done on the 21st of the month. It's now the third of the next month and it has never been delivered. I got a refund and will take my business to a competitor. Avoid choosing ship to home at all costs.
    Ordered a desk on October 29,2020, so I thought I did. Nope. They spontaneously cancelled my order. No rhyme or reason. Just cancelled it. Ending up charging my card anyways. I had to call customer service, twice. Both times the clerk had a hard time finding my order (had to send a print screen as proof). They said they would refund me. In the end I had to force them to refund me by contacting my bank with a charge dispute.(October4,2020) Disreputable company, avoid at all costs. Go to Amazon for your online needs. I do not recommend this company to anyone!
    Is nothing sacred in this world anymore? Remember those wonderful little indy art supply stores, where you could poke around for hours looking at natural bristle brushes and wonderful imported tubes of paint? Places like Michael's have ruined the survivability of the small privately owned artist supply shop. It's a crime. I only go there if I have to. The sales "associates" do not even know the meaning of the word "art" -- and they do not know their a$$es from their elbows, when it comes to supplies What crappola. I am attaching their logo, only for a touch of irony. Three mediocre stars.
    Very happy with Store #1348 near me in Phoenix! Hannah was so pleasant, rushing to check me out, and offered an unsolicited "senior discount"... love having them there!
    I placed an order from Michael's on November 27th the same Item went on sale the next day plus another item.so I placed another order. Well I only received one item. I did receive conformation that the order. When I didn't find it I called Michael's spoke with Lee29 after holding on for 16 minutes Lee29 informed that my items would be resent. No communication from Lee. Called back waiting to speak with a Supervisor. THERE are NONE. I refuse to let my Money go like that. Mindless to say THERE was no MERRY CHRISTMAS.
    I own a handmade jewelry company. I have purchased a couple different gold plated, nickel free spools of chain. Each one has tarnished and turned black in less two weeks or it has broken apart with the slightest movement. This is UNACCEPTABLE. I am semi-experienced with metal and realize gold plating over copper or brass will tarnish faster. I also realize that different skin chemistries affect how fast gold plating may tarnish. But, one or two weeks?! I cannot sell any necklace made in good faith with this product. I am starting to question whether these items are even truly nickel free, as many of them start to smell awful as well. I promise you that customers would be willing to pay a little extra for quality jewelry making supplies. Gold plating for gold filling (which lasts long) over sterling silver or quality 18k gold lasts longer and can be cleaned without disrupting the chemistry of the metal. Very disappointed.
    I moved several months ago and changed my address at Michaels for shipping. After FOUR missed deliveries I am finally giving up! How could they mess up this badly this many times!?
    I wanted to buy the sticker books for next year while the sale is on.My card was rejected so I called my bank and they did their homework and said it went through. I called Michiels back for the second time they sent me to someone higher up that had no idea why the card was rejected. The women I talked to said I will call you back today well... I waited and waited for no call. I am watching the things I wanted drop out of my cart as they are out. So frustrated I mfell as much as I hat eo change where I shop Im going to hobby lobby, they cant be any worse. Mary
