    I ordered several items. Some arrived with no explanation for the missing items. I had to contact them. They responded that missing items were back ordered for several weeks. I said in that case please cancel those items. They refused, saying that once an order is placed it is locked' in their system and cannot be cancelled. I find this ridiculous. So they have my money in ransom. This is not customary and if I had known i would not have ordered. Distasteful at best. Will never use again and do not recommend.
    Very dirty while I was taking a cooking class in Southlake and I noticed Health code violations. I witnessed a mouse/rat that ran across the floor. Before that I saw violations that wouldn't pass inspection but shortly after I saw the mouse/rat run across the floor I immediately walked out. Don't come for the classes, awful experience.
    Sur La Table, ("syur lah tahb-leh") translates "on the table". It matters to me how the best recipes, created in my kitchen end up on my table. You too? Then Sur La Table is the place to find the right baking/cooking tools for the project, time saving gadgets, cutlery, cookware, flatware, linens, accessories, small electrics and more to make a home-cook look like a pro. You can even hone your skills with a cooking class in the open kitchen classroom at the back of the store.
    Terrible service today at Southlake location! I was trying to get help from a Hispanic lady when every other employee was busy and when she wasn't with a customer and saw I needed help she ignored me and went to the back and never returned. Very rude when I was trying to get help. Don't come here if you want customer service.
    This summer I ordered a cuisinart ice cream maker that was offered by other vendors, but the best deal price wise and shipping was Surlatable.com. And the ice cream maker is one of the coolest kitchen appliances I've ever bought - definitely worth the cost to be able to so easily make your own IC!
    Just received a 300.00 Le Creuset dutch oven via UPS with a cracked handle. No more in stock in my color. They are forcing me to repackage this very heavy piece, and schlepp it to a UPS store as they closed the only SLT store in CT. The customer service dept. is no longer in the US, and they are not service oriented. Find a local kitchen store and avoid this place as it is by far no longer what it once was. Good riddance, SLT.
    Don't waste your time or money. Sur La Table is a lousy company. I attended 3 cooking classes they provided. Never again. Two of the "chefs" were nice people. One was extremely obnoxious. He got visibly mad and emotionally upset because several students including myself were not holding the knife EXACTLY like he demonstrated. What a narcissist. It is a job for bottom feeders. The place is sloppy, filthy and unsanitary. They mix food together that all the students hands have been in and then they serve it to everyone. The cooking classes are BYOB and they allow drunkenness. The evening classes are often fully booked and the space is too small, cramped and congested which contributes to the sloppy filthiness. The meals are not consistently good. Some recipes are awful. The classes are rushed. The "chefs" typically arrive at the very last minute for scheduled class start time and unprepared or 10 to 15 minuets after the class start time. They yell at you to wait outside until they are "ready". The kitchen assistant team always seems irritated and behave like they would rather be anywhere else. The cooking classes are an overpriced frivolous novelty that most people attend only once or twice because the experience is not worth the time or money. The the students who make a habit of coming back are without exception those who are desperate for social interaction they can't seem to find anywhere else. I purchased a $300 gift certificate on line from Sur La Table for my wife. I selected the option on their website to email the certificate to her email address. Sur La Table's system immediately charged my credit card but has not emailed the certificate to my wife. They did immediately begin harassing both our email accounts with sales solicitations. I researched their question and answer page on their website hoping to find out why. There are several questions posted on their site from customers who were also concerned about why gift certificates they purchased to be emailed were not emailed timely. Sur La Table ignores or refuses to respond to the questions. Some questions pertaining to this have been posted for over a year and Sur La Table has not responded to a single one. Most of the products they sell are highly profitable overpriced cheaply made gimmicks designed and marketed to attract naïve customers. Some of the products they sell are good and can be bought elsewhere. Don't waste your time or money supporting such a lousy organization.
    I have purchased 2 items from this company for far and have been completely satisfied with both. The items were exactly as described, and I got a good price for them. They came very carefully packaged and arrived on time. I will use this company again!
    I had made an online purchase from Sur la Table for some housewarming gifts. According to the tracking number provided when the order shipped, the package was delivered to the front door of the recipient. However, there was no package at the recipient's house, and in the event the UPS driver delivered to the wrong house, she went to all her neighbors and asked if they perhaps had the package, but her neighbors did not receive it. When I called Sur la Table, I was told that since the order had already shipped, it was no longer their responsibility and they could not do anything. They told me to contact UPS to file my own claim and that I would need to take it up with UPS. There was no offer for a refund nor an offer to re-send a new package out to the recipient. So in essence, I paid them over $93 and received... nothing.
    I made a purchase at Sur le Table number 133 before Christmas for gifts for my husband. Due to many of these stores being closed down I had to drive an hour out of my way to purchase these items for him. Unfortunately our Christmas got delayed because of Christmas. My husband did not approve of the items I purchased so I try to return them all intact in the same bag with a receipt tags on every item, none of these items were seasonal as they were all utensils for the kitchen that they sell every day in the store. These items could be literally put back on the shelf right now to be resold however the store manager was very rude and would not even make an exception to make these returns happen. I explained the situation and then I asked her corporate number after getting transferred three times while standing inside the store corporate was not able to help me due to the simple fact apparently that I did not make these purchases online. I am very disappointed in this customer service I would like to be contacted ASAP about this. I could completely understand exceptions not being made if these were seasonal items marked on items or items they don't sell anymore or from even a different store but this was the store that I got these items from. I had to drive one hour to make this return happen as we were out of town and was not able to get here sooner. I honestly cannot believe how lacking good customer service is in this store!
