Absolutely horrific customer service experience. Horrible tech. Zero coordination with Ticketmaster/brokers and this will absolutely come back to haunt you. They will say that they will refund 120% of a COVID-affected event, but this appears to be categorically untrue since you have to pursue every bit of fine print in order to do so. Could not think less of the unethical nature of their seller's policies and was not happy whatsoever as a buyer, either.WARNING! Don't ever order from #stubhub! Because I entered a PO Box number and contacted them with a updated street address and tickets was rerouted in plenty of time to receive my tickets. Never received my tickets up-to the day of the concert and they will not refund your money. Customer Service is terrible! On hold over 3 hrs! I've called everyday for 7 days to just get the run around. So I'm out $390!Yes, StubHub often has tickets at a small savings as compared to Ticketmaster, but if your event is postponed, tough luck. While Ticketmaster offers the opportunity to exchange tickets, StubHub does not. Further, you can NOT contact StubHub. Period. Their phone system routes you to a minimum 3-hour wait queue, and guess what - nobody's going to pick up.
Spend the extra $10 at Ticketmaster, save yourself the pain.I would give 0 stars for stubhub if possible. When asking for a refund for a concert ticket, originally for June 2020, and official status is "postponed", they would not help at all and only refer to their policies.
No exceptions for COVID.
So I have $900 tickets for a concert for an unknown Date, maybe in 2021.
And my only option of I can't / don't want to go - is to resell the ticket on stub hub so they can make more $$ of the transaction.
Ridiculous. Consumer affairs should pretext us from these business practices.Too bad ZERO stars is not an option. This company is brutal to deal with. No refund 2 years after the original concert date -- maybe a law needs to be changed. Then I tried to relist my ticket for sale and their were so many technical glitches the stubhub agent could not even get it listed. I was told to clear my browser cache 3 times! That must be the go to answer :( I will never do another transaction with this company! If you decide to, you have been forewarned.We purchased 3 tickets to the Harlem globe trotters for my sons bday it was on his birthday day kinda special thing payed 270 for tickets and haven't heard anything about event except postponed i dont need the tickets now and how do u sell tickets that r expired and cancelled makes no sense to me and well my kids the only one disappointed cause our money's caught up in the b. S.Do NOT buy from stubhub! Especially during this covid mess. My concert was rescheduled 2x, originally on a Saturday, and moved to a Thursday night. Tried to resell my tickets, but no go. Tried to at least get a credit for future event, but denied. I just had to eat nearly $200. Totally pissed & disappointed.I recently tried to sell tickets on StubHub and they never answered the customer help line when I had issues. I wanted to fulfill my end of the deal but simply didn't know how. They never picked up the support line, then charged me the full price of the tickets as a penalty for not being able to deliver the tickets. Numerous back and forth with the company simply resulted in them charging me a p[penalty "because they could". This company does not care about you or doing the right thing,. I will refuse to use there services ever again.Stub Hub makes it nearly impossible to get a refund for cancelled plays. The customer service consists of off-shore agents whose English and phone connections are terrible. I have called six times, with no luck getting refunds! They want to keep my money by making it hard to get anything but a coupon. Will NEVER buy from them again.I went into their website to sell a pair of tickets and the website was stalling so I thought it had not gone through so I went in again and re imputed the information band I got a confirmation but when I went to look at my information it looked like I had 2 ads so I tried to cancel it and tried calling but no answer and the next morning I called and was told their website was having issues but could not stop them from taking a 100.00 out of my account. A few reviews saying the same thing.I bought and sold tickets many times on Stubhub. It was easy and reliable. That was then. But this is now. Stubhub is now awful. Its customer service line simply does not exist, and I need to contact someone about a major problem. I have been on hold for 89 minutes. Nobody answers. If I do not get someone tonight, I cannot use my tickets. If you have a problem with your tickets, Stubhub will not help you.I ordered tickets on StubHub but never received the email from the third party seller to accept them. It would have been an understandable mistake, but StubHub is impossible to contact to remedy mistakes like this. They do not have a working customer service email, they don't respond on Twitter and Facebook, and I've sat on old for long amounts of time but never gotten through to a representative. I'm now out like $1,500. I had to buy tickets from another seller because I was standing outside of the venue refreshing my email and looking for my tickets. Horrible experience. It would take a lot to get me to use StubHub again or recommend it to anyone I know.Purchase concert tickets, received confirmation, they billed my credit card, but never sent me tickets. Waited 3.5 hours on the phone and finally spoke with a person who could not help me. Said 2nd party Ticketmaster will be contacting me. They did and then asked if to put me on hold, 40 minutes later holding they hung up on me. Called a second time to StubHub waiting 1.5 hours and they didn't want to give me a refund for their error. They tried to apply a credit for future use. Such poor customer service!I am patient and giving during these times of chaos, however the lies, alterations to policies and deceit coming our of StubHub should prevent them from any assistance from the Government and allow the garbage company to flatline. They refuse to provide the refund promised not just when the tickets were purchased but after the event was canceled. There is also a move to delay again any action as they close in on their date for Bankruptcy to avoid following through on their Fan Guarantee. TRASH that needs disposed of, avoid at all costThey lie and change their refund policy as they choose. Once my event was cancelled they sent me an email offering me another set of tickets or my money back. I replied that I did want my money back. They said 2-3 weeks. It has now been 5 weeks and after waiting on hold with customer service for 47 minutes they informed me it would be at least 2 or 3 more weeks. So they can sell all the tickets and take everyone's money with no problem. But when it comes to them keeping their policies they don't care. I will never, ever buy from them againTerrible company. Beware. Be prepared to lose any money you spend with them.
I bought 4 premium tickets to a Warriors game that didn't come through. After spending about 2 hours trying to get the tickets including 80 minutes with Stubhub customer service, they tried to get me replacement tickets, but those didn't arrive in time and they couldn't get me a parking pass, which I had paid $250 for. So, after a ruined evening, StubHub agreed to give me a refund. But, the refund that they gave me was only for $246. So, I had to call back and spend another 30 minutes explaining what happened to get the rest refunded. Beware of using this company. And, don't buy premium tickets. You could easily lose any money that you spend with this compay.Cost a lot more buying tickets from these guys than what it would have cost if I got them earlier at the venue. Oh well, that is what you get when you wait. Or in my case, I did not know the band was playing until much later after tickets went on sale. Too bad society has to put up with this type of sales where companies buy up all the tickets and then turns around and gouges the public. This is about as close to scalping tickets as you can get.I pay extra to not use stubhub anymore. Their customer service is so horrible and after never receiving my tickets said they would give me replacement tickets which never came. Then they agreed to give me a credit which I also never received when I called again they said to wait 5 days. After waiting the 5 days I called again in which they said they had no record of anything and will not be making it up at all.This is the only business that I know of that will refuse to give you your money back. I accidentally purchased ticket (and Im kinda thinking it was due to a computer malfunction on their end) tickets to a show in San Antonio when I meant to get Midland. So I called back immediately and was told I couldn't even get a credit towards the right show. If I want my money back I have to list and sell the ticket that I dont want. I was told this is the case with every ticket you purchase online. Not sure. Dont care. I'm Extremely upset and want to warn anyone who even considers buying a ticket what kind of business that Stub Hub runs. I personally dont know how they sleep at night doing this to people and taking a hundred dollars from someone for nothing. But hey Karma what comes around goes around. Good luck with your shady business practices. You wont see another cent from me.They sell tickets for events that have not officially went on sale along with the seats for which there is no guarantee you will actually get. THATS BAD BUSINESS!I recently decided to use stub hub for an event near me. I bought a parking pass and was "guarenteed" a ticket before the event. The event came and passed and still no ticket. I requested a refund through thier site and was told that they would not oblige. Dont waste your time on a little extra dollar savings when you can buy from source with a guarentee.Three hour wait time to talk to customer service. Horrendous. Don't use them. Transferring mobile tickets is not self explanatory. TerribleTerrible! Never again! I never received my tickets and customer service will have you on hold for hours and not answer!I used StubHub for the first time, night before a football game and got pretty good seats for the game. Next day, drive 4.5 hrs to the game, park, and go to my phone to pull up the tickets. I buy tickets from airlines who text and email the boarding pass directly to me. Open a text - viola, set to go. So. I draw no reason in the year 2021 to pull up the tickets any earlier. How wrong was I? All I got was an email link to their website, which required me to log in, which meant that I needed to set up an account since I purchased the tickets as a guest. Not great but that was the least of the issues. I had to click more links to get the tickets and the links generally would not load. When one finally, did, there was another link still to go to get my tickets to appear. Each link would time out and give 1 or 3 various error messages. I then downloaded the app and had the exact same issue. Found a link for Help. LOL. I was asked to log in again and then directed to the same View Tickets home page that was necessitating the need for help. Could this be and an old man or ID 10 T error? Well, I'm sure that is what my 15 yr old son thought when he took over on his phone. After 45 minutes of getting error messages and watching the website/app time out, the game had started and the lines had cleared to enter the stadium. I asked the ticket taker if they experienced issues with Stub Hub not loading and fortunately she had personally experienced it on several occasions so she let us in based on the email description. I think she felt bad that we had already missed the 1st two TDs, one by each team. Her advice was to get started downloading the tickets as soon as you buy them and then take a screen shot of them. Really nice, Stub Hub. The most basic and vital part of your business functions like something from the early days of dial up internet. I will try other ticket resale sites in the future.This company took 271.00 dollars of my money and never sent my tickets to a football game. Even after numerous phone call and emails they were none responsive, and when I finally got someone on the phone she had the audacity to ask what took me so long to call. Do yourself a huge favor and use someone else for ticket purchases. Lesson learn.
